The first Armenian kombucha

Good changes start with simple habits.

Arbucha is a live kombucha in which natural fermentation reveals more than taste: natural antioxidants, organic acids and live cultures.

All in original combinations of Armenian fruits and herbs. For those who choose not just a drink, but a more mindful approach to every day.

How we make Arbucha

  1. 01
    Tea
Black and green tea brewed with filtered water.
  2. 02
20+ days of natural fermentation using traditional methods
The live culture converts most of the sugar.
  3. 03
Second fermentation. A flavour is born
We add natural cold-pressed juices, fruits, herbs and spices. Pomegranate, rose, thyme, tarragon, nettle, sea buckthorn: each combination creates its own unique taste.
  4. 04
    Live. Unpasteurized
We neither pasteurize nor carbonate the drink, keeping the live cultures and the natural character of kombucha. Keep refrigerated at 2–8 °C.

Made in Armenia since 2020

It all began in 2020 with a small experiment: Arbucha founder Mher Badalyan brewed his first kombucha right in his office. Combining the idea with our team's many years of experience in making Armenian brandy and wine, we decided to give new life to a centuries-old tradition.

I was in Yerevan last year and drank lots of your Kombucha, it is the best shop bought kombucha I have ever had! P.S. thyme and mint was my favourite.

FAQ

Does Arbucha contain alcohol?

A small amount, approx. up to 0.2%, formed naturally during fermentation. The drink is not intoxicating.

Does it contain caffeine?

A little: it comes from the black and green tea.

How should I store it?

Refrigerated at 2–8 °C. Shelf life up to 6 months; the taste becomes more tart over time.

Why is Arbucha still?

Arbucha is made as a still (non-carbonated) kombucha. Because it is a live, unpasteurized drink, fermentation can continue during storage and gradually form some gas, especially at higher temperatures. That is why Arbucha must be kept refrigerated at 2–8 °C.

Do you work with cafés and shops?

Yes. Write to info@arbucha.am or on WhatsApp +374 41 199915.
